Kurt Ackermann – President
During high school and college, Kurt began learning the machining and precision sheet metal trade from his father who started VIP back in 1956. He continued working with his parents during the next 13 years as VIP continued to grow. He quickly became proficient in all aspects of the trade, and in 1985 he assumed the duties of President of Vista Industrial Products, Inc., and still serves in that position to this day.
Mark DeVenture – Production Manager
Mark is Vista Industrial’s dedicated Production Manager who has been an invaluable part of our company since joining us in the Inspection department in 1992. His remarkable journey within the organization has spanned decades, starting in PEGA and quickly ascending to Shop Foreman and then Production Manager, Mark exemplifies unwavering commitment and expertise. With a rich background in both manufacturing and construction, Mark brings a unique blend of skills and knowledge to his leadership role. His years of experience not only reflect his deep understanding of our industry, but also his ability to oversee and optimize production processes effectively. Mark is a true asset to the VIP management team, and his contributions have played a pivotal role in our company’s success over the years.
Steve Sibiski – Engineering Manager
Steve joined the VIP team in 1995, beginning in the shipping department. He rapidly moved up through the company as he progressed onto the shop floor where he was given the opportunity to learn in all departments. Going from an operator, to a set-up person, and eventually to serving as a lead in multiple areas. After a few years of mastering the shop, we were excited to have Steve’s knowledge and experience in the VIP Programming Department. Steve continued to expand his considerable knowledge and hone his skills working hand-in-hand with the Engineering Department. Steve saw the impact he could make in the manufacturing engineering arena and went back to school to help back up the practical knowledge that he was getting on the job daily. After ten years of consistent dedication to VIP, we were thrilled to have him accept the position of Engineering Manager, where he continues to oversee the Vista Industrial Engineering Department. Steve leads the department in working with our customers to find the solutions they need. Whether it is cost reduction, improved manufacturability, or even helping with design and functionality, Steve is confident that the VIP Engineering Department knowledge and experience is second to none. He and his team look forward to providing that knowledge and experience to all who partner with VIP.
Catrina Carter – HR & Benefits Manager
Catrina is the newest member of our management team, joining VIP in 2022. She brings over two decades of experience to the HR Manager position in the areas of payroll & benefits administration, employee management and training & development. With a vision of promoting diversity, inclusion and equity, Catrina values her role in employee engagement and policy establishment at VIP and publishes the company’s monthly newsletter.
Bob Collard – Estimating Manager
Bob joined the VIP team in 1998, bringing with him 17 years of manufacturing experience, including production management. During his employment, he has served in multiple capacities from hands on production fabrication, equipment maintenance mechanic, manufacturing engineer, and as a member of our initial ISO certification team. In June of 2008, Bob accepted the position of Estimating Manager, using his experience to develop the planning currently used in the VIP estimating process.
Tony Eade – Quality Manager
Tony joined the VIP team in 2003, having 25 years of manufacturing and quality control experience. He has served in the capacity of Manufacturing Engineer and Quality Manager, and as a member of VIP’s initial ISO Certification Team. Tony also participates in special projects such as qualifying weld processes and upgrading processes throughout VIP, such as painting and powdercoating procedures. We are pleased to have Tony’s years of service and dedication among VIP’s well-experienced management team.
Britney Blue – ISO & Admin Manager
Originally working with VIP from 2009-2010 as a Marketing Consultant for her Senior Experience project at Cal State University San Marcos, Britney was asked to join the VIP team in 2011 as a Marketing Specialist. Bringing her 2010 business degree with her, she gained thorough knowledge of the manufacturing industry while managing customer accounts. Over the next several years she wore many hats at Vista Industrial, including Lead Auditor of Quality Management Systems, serving in the Estimating Department, and providing orientation to all new employees. After a two-year break to grow her family, VIP was delighted to have her return in 2021 to completely overwrite the entire ISO Quality Management System, incorporating various improvements, implementing new standards, and providing company-wide training. Britney continues her dedication to keeping VIP standards current with compliance and training across all departments.
Chris King – Program Manager
Chris joined the VIP staff in 2005 bringing with him 12 years of experience in customer service, billing and portfolio management. Chris uses his extensive experience and positive demeanor to provide the highest quality service to our customers. He spent years as Customer Service and Document Control Manager, but has focused on maintaining client relationships and working directly with customers on all aspects of a project to ensure the customers’ needs are met.
